Obviously he has ticked off the Democrats in his strong backing for public education. What a shame and a loss to all of us.

  2. I could be wrong, but isn’t Mike Ramone the owner of the building in which Pike Creek Charter plans to be housed?
If so, isn’t there an issue with him serving on this committee?

no, not at least. This is thuggish payback. Jaques as chair, Mr. HB 165er?? Strap in, going to be rough for teachers.

Kowalko cut-off at the knees by his own party.

This has nothing to do with Kowalko and everything to do with a hit put out by the head democrat-in-drag (dem-in-drag? A closeted republican capitalist Governor!) The message is loud and clear, CSD BOE supporters. Concede or the gov. will order an under-secretary to start reading that part in the code that explains how he can abuse his powers to unseat an entirely elected school board. And what will his coffee hound find? A blueprint for putting a district in receivership.

Mmmm. Take Heed – He’s laying down the gauntlet. Mmmmmm. Indeed.

BTW – the traditional diehards really give Jacques too much credit. He’s not pro-charter. He’s pro-what-will-get-me-re-elected.

Jaques was Charter Network loverboy and 100% all in on the destructive HB 165. Sorry, he’s as pro-charter as they come.

Oh sure. This is absolutely coming from the top. What does Pete care about education? He hasn’t taken a stand on anything in education like… ever?
But this proves that John -AND YOU GUYS- are touching some nerves! It’s no longer business as usual. Stick to your guns!

What a crock. I wonder when Markell pulled the Speaker into his office to tell him this play.
