These kids are adorable, but the adults that made them do this… well, there’s a special place in hell for those that have stolen the joy of learning from our schools like this. #netDE

  1. I watched it so I knew all the dance steps… Takes only about 30 times… The words are easy, they have spoilers….

I remember making fun of North Korean films showing their students excited to take their tests and singing propaganda to popular tunes….

If we are copying North Korea, aren’t we going the wrong way?

  2. The other thing, is where is the music and dance portions on the SBA? it must have taken 30 hours at least to get that video shot…. Can we find out that classes’ ELA and math scores? I’m sure each of their parents must be asking, would my child have had a higher test score if they HADN’T been getting ready for the video??? Thanks to this video, now my child won’t get into Harvard… She got a high 3, not a 4…..

  3. I count 27 kids…. based on New York, only 8 of these kids passed — the rest all flunked… not because they got the questions wrong, but because the test was graded on a curve where the bottom 70% was predetermined to be considered failing… no matter how high their scores really were…..

“…and some kids have crappy teachers…”

    Yeah, what a biggie!
    What about “crappy parents”?
    “crappy lives”? crappy nutrition”,
    “crappy place to live”?

One “crappy teacher ” will not have half the impact of any one of these factors.
