Why are we not staying with Innovative Schools? I just think that right now it’s not the best move with what’s going on with the Pension office. These are the kind of things that are going to have to be reviewed with the board. I don’t think you understand how much these people are gunning for you and these kinds of moves make it hard to shield you. When was Innovative Schools contract over?
I hope you know HE, her husband and anyone else they can get are bringing up mortgage issues, any and all issues and whether or not they put it out to the paper they are going after your’s and Bob’s character. You know I will fight with everything I have for you but you can’t make decisions like this right now. That’s what I was talking about yesterday with you. We are going to talk to the attorney about filing a claim against her but we still have to first get an attorney, go over all this mess with them and then see what they say.
The new thing is that they are trying to say that you guys came up with a scheme to get money because your house went into forclosure and you needed the money. We all know that’s a crock of shit and if you have the contracts of the other two, Bob wasn’t making that much more than Shirley or Sue but there not spinning it that way. I wish I could snap my fingers and make it stop but until it does I need you to review any and all decisions with the board. I just want to be able to get a full day in at work and have a fucking day off without worrying about whats going to blow up. Please, Please, Please all decisions have to be board approved right now. Are there going to be any personnel changes for this upcoming year. Can you get me a list of all the proposed teachers, staff, contractors or anyone else you plan on working at the school this upcoming year? We will also need to get a list of who would be let go if we don’t hit the numbers.
I’m not trying to make you feel like there isn’t trust but the focus of the drama has to be taken off your shoulders. Harrie Ellen has to stop being able to say you made the decision. From now on it will be the board that makes the decisions and she can kiss our ass. The way it’s going to work from now is when the shit starts rolling down the hill it stops at the board level. You, Amanda and the rest of the school can continue to deal with the day to day operations of the school. You need to be able to be the school leader and not the fireman. All you were able to do last year was constantly put fires out and deal with issues. The teachers did a phenominal job but they need you to do your evaluations, mentor them, use the knowledge that you have and your patience and connections with the kids to help them better themselves. We need you at the front door every morning greeting the kids when they come in and being the force that you were before all the drama from the year prior. This has taken a toll on you and your ability to do your job and you know it. Your stress level is through the roof and even though you put that face on everyday you know this is taking away from you doing the best job you can. Your doing the same thing and I am but to the extreme. We are squeezing in work between the e-mails and it has to stop.

I have chosen to withhold that piece of info. The point is very distinct from the salaciousness of who sent it. He/She knows who they are, and that’s all that matters.
If I were a gambling person my money would be on Judi Kennedy, VP of the Board and Loyal Lewis Shield. You know what they say about a duck: if it walks, talks and looks like a duck it’s a duck, well this has Kennedy written all over it.
I think it is time to call for the resignation of the school board VP and PTO president!!! Clearly she doesn’t have the parents and students in mind!!

the true failure is at the DOE/SBE level to even approve a charter than could go this far off the tracks. Then to follow up that bad decision with ZERO effective oversight is just a disaster. As we can ALL see, and by ALL, I mean ALL.
John – lets not pass blame away from the real problem. Ann Lewis is the root of the problem. If she handled things professionally, morally, legally, and ethically, everything would be fine. From there, the board and DOE failed to act.
*Indeed the SL is the real problem for PCHS, but you cannot give DOE, as the authorizer, a pass on their responsibility to ensure our public dollars are not inherited and misused for pension fraud and on no bid contracts. Had the SBE and DOE been more involved rather than set a NARROW terms of probation and ONLY measure those while letting all this other stuff “happen” with ALMOST ZERO response. I mean, how bad does it have to get that 2 bloggers and a newspaper reporter have to give a cabinet secretary of Delaware the pretext to call a meeting? I mean, really? *
PTO president is foolish if she thinks HE is the only one that is sick of the Lewis crap. Information on foreclosures is on public record. In fact, I believe HE was informed of this by others, not the other way around.
I just reread the email. It is very upsetting. The board VP is begging the school leader to run information by her. I believe the word Please was used about 10 times. WTH? The board VP clearly doesn’t understand that the board is in charge of the school, not the other way around. That email should have been telling the SL to do something or else she is fired, not using Please in hopes that she will do something.
Concerned, you are right. There is a wealth of information that is in the public domain, including foreclosure judgements and that information was sent to me by several people. You just can’t make this stuff up, even if you’re good you can’t do it!
This email is one of the most disturbing things that has come to light in this whole sordid story. Does the Board not understand that they employ the school leader, they set the policies and direction for the school, they in fact represent the taxpayers who are funding the school? This email not only shows the lack of understanding of at least one board member, but it shows in vivid color the total lack of responsibility that the board has for their task. The job of the Board is NOT TO SHIELD the SL but to make damn well and sure that the SL does what is required of her as the employee. This is not a backlot club of after school kids, this is serious, costly business to run a school and nobody is doing it. Maybe, just maybe Mark Murphy knows how to clean it up?? It can be done, you know. Out with the SL, out with the Board. Bring in a retired admin for whatever time is necessary for a committee of school/parent/community people to run a legit search for a qualified, competent, independent leader and board. Get the scoundrels out. All of them.
There’s really only one other option….only one. Game over.
John, I don’t know how many sources you have, but this one is particularly interesting. It should hopefully put a little fear into the author and the Lewis team. It shows them that anything that has been typed in any of the state email accounts is fair game. They should be very, very worried. They are probably sitting there deleting emails as I type this. Not sure if they are sharp enough to know that it is there forever now – backups… Delete to your hearts content – doesn’t matter. I am wondering how many people are actually stil on that Lewis team. I am thinking maybe one other than the 2 Lewises. Can’t imagine that anyone would be stupid enough to still support them. Maybe that one fan will wise up and ask DOE to help her find a new leader.
