The fact that you have received this from 20 people supports the statement made earlier that “There are plenty of us parents agitating behind the scenes.”

IN previous involvements both in district schools and at Pencader, when requests have gone out for participation in activities, donations of food, hands on involvement, there has always been seemingly the same parents doing everything. Parent involvement is so, so critical. It is frustrating not to see more.
Those who can, do. Those who can’t, complain. Only, as far as the Pencader situation goes, a lot of the doers have been reduced to complaining b/c the responsible agencies re: Pencader Board of Directors and the Delaware Department of Education are just plain silent.
Can’t someone announce an investigation? DO SOMETHING? I don’t care if its the janitor! Some response is better than the communication void Pencader chasm that the school has been driven into…
