from the Weekly talk-of-the-blogs thread
And in case you are wondering: Yes, I’ve been hearing the same Pencader rumors about the board that are popping up now on the blogosphere. I asked about it last week, and deputy secretary of education Dan Cruce assured me that the board still had enough members for a quorum.
So, I have to ask if the DOE source, listed as Dan Cruce, elaborated on the quorum in the context of a rescinded resignation, instead of the soft, credibility granting language “assurance” which may or could be confused with the more apt, dispassionate description of “asserted”. Folks, there is definitely problems on the PCHS Board of Directors. The by laws were modified on 3/21/12 as they sit on the website despite the claim in the by laws themselves that:
These Bylaws were adopted by the Incorporator of the Pencader Board of Directors on November 2, 2003. They were amended on November 13, 2009 and again on May 18, 2011.
Hmmm. I don’t see 3/21/12 listed as a modification date yet the file was last modified at 9:46PM that day.
Also, the website lists one member as both ad-hoc and Secretary. That page has been updated at least since June 1st as the former President Ms. Minnehan’s name has been removed. And I haven’t even mentioned the member who resigned and was begged to rescind it.
Trouble in play now. More coming soon, I’m afraid. I wonder what formal communication has been made to parents?
School starts in 9 weeks.
You may have heard that the two ladies who colluded before over Pencader politics were sitting together in the House Chamber yesterday and both misspoke about Jaques’ charter bill. Idiots.
Who?????
